Meet Sandra - Lead Interior Decorator at Sandra Flora Home Design

Design and decorating have been part of my world for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a father who was a painter and decorator, I was surrounded by colour, craftsmanship, and the transformation of spaces from an early age. I’ve always had an eye for design and a natural ability to see the potential in a space — how the right colours, furnishings, textures, and finishing touches can completely change the way a home looks and feels.

Today, as an Interior Decorator, Home Stager, and Master Colour Consultant, I bring that experience and instinct to every project. I work with clients throughout the Lower Mainland, helping with everything from paint colours and furniture placement to lighting, flooring, tile, window treatments, furnishings, accessories, and complete room transformations.

My style is a relaxed blend of traditional, coastal, and modern design, with an emphasis on warmth, comfort, and timeless choices. But I don’t believe in imposing one particular style on a client. The most important thing is creating a home that reflects the people who live there and feels right for the way they live.

Some clients need help pulling together a room that just isn’t working. Others are renovating, updating several spaces, preparing a home for sale, or simply don’t know where to begin. I help take away the overwhelm, narrow down the choices, and bring everything together so the finished space feels cohesive, welcoming, and personal.

I also work alongside a trusted network of trades and suppliers, allowing me to help clients with many different aspects of their projects and connect them with the right people when needed.

For me, great design isn’t about following every trend or creating a home that looks like everyone else’s. It’s about seeing the potential in a space and creating something beautiful, comfortable, and uniquely yours.

Andy brings over 34 years of experience in the trades, including running his own successful business as a certified millwright. He’s no stranger to tools, timelines, or troubleshooting, and his practical knowledge of renovations and home improvements is second to none.

But beyond the skills, Andy is someone who takes pride in doing things right. He’s known for his calm approach, honest communication, and dedication to quality workmanship. Whether he’s managing a kitchen refresh, coordinating flooring updates, or handling custom installations, Andy ensures every detail runs smoothly and with care.

As Sandra’s husband, Andy has always been behind the scenes—lifting furniture, hanging art, or helping bring vision to life. Now, he’s officially taking the lead on project management and renovation coordination, bringing trusted tradespeople together to create beautiful, functional spaces.Together, we’re combining design and construction experience to offer our clients a seamless, full-service home improvement journey—from inspiration to execution.
